Ms. Halper has been a member of the Linden community since 2013, when she returned to her hometown of Nashville upon completion of a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Russian at the University of Vermont. She earned Waldorf teaching certification and a Master of Arts in Education at the Great Lakes Waldorf Institute in conjunction with Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.
In addition to her role as class teacher for the Class of 2022, she taught the Class of 2021 for their 8th grade year. She has also taught several guest blocks in chemistry and physics, and she was the interim Middle School Math Teacher for the 2023–2024 school year. Ms. Halper serves on the Faculty Study Committee.
For many summers, Ms. Halper co-led a Waldorf-inspired children's summer camp on a biodynamic farm in Bells Bend, west of Nashville. When not at school, Ms. Halper enjoys homemaking and spending time outside with her daughter.
