Mary Johnson has been with Linden since 2008, when she began teaching violin, viola, and cello on campus. Starting in 2009, she began as the Linden strings assistant. In 2020 Ms. Johnson took on the role of Interim Environmental Stewardship teacher, and in 2021 transitioned to Environmental Stewardship teacher.
She has completed coursework in theology from the Notre Dame College of Ohio and Music Education at Bowling Green State University. She was principal violist and section violinist of the Perrysburg Symphony and co-concert master of the Bowling Green Symphony Orchestra. When she moved to Tennessee, she became Director of Strings at The Renaissance Center in Dickson, Tennessee.
Mary has always loved the outdoors and the mysteries of creation. “There is awe in just about everything, if we just quiet ourselves to let ourselves see.”
