Ms. Coplan brings more than 30 years of experience as a music educator, choral director, pianist, and performing artist. She has taught music, choir, drama, and public speaking in schools and community music programs from New York City to Nashville, including the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, the North Carolina School of the Arts, Christ the King School, and the W.O. Smith Music School. Her graduate studies include Orff, Kodály, and Dalcroze approaches to music education, reflecting her belief that children learn music most deeply through joyful movement, singing, listening, and creative expression.
In addition to her classroom teaching, Ms. Coplan has directed church and school choirs for more than three decades and has performed throughout the United States and Canada as a pianist, speaker, and collaborative artist. She is excited to share the joy of music with Linden students, nurturing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music while helping children discover the beauty of singing and making music together.
