Kia Bahner is a seasoned and impactful professional in the independent education arena. Ms. Bahner earned a BA in English at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and an MA in Human Resource Development at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
Her 30-year track record includes fund development as well as admissions. More recently, Ms. Bahner has worked with Waldorf pedagogy at Ocean Charter School and has served as a classroom assistant for the last three years. She brings a wealth of proven strategies and innovative ideas for fostering success in learning.
As a community leader, Ms. Bahner also spent several years serving her alma mater, Spelman College, as President for the Nashville Chapter, and Recording Secretary, and Fundraising Chair for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Spelman Alumnae Association.

Ms. Bahner has a great love and interest in history and current events, particularly in the way in which those entities relate to modern-day studies and initiatives. She enjoys reading biographies and watching classic movies, in her spare time.
“Ms. B,” as she is affectionately called by the students, is excited about her new adventure with Linden Waldorf School's second grade class and being a part of students' growth inside and outside of the classroom.
