Mrs. Sprouse started the Strings program at Linden in January 2002. She holds a BM in Violin Performance from Indiana University. She has performed with the Nashville Symphony, Orchestra Kentucky, Nashville Music Scoring, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Costa Rica, on European tours with the American Sinfonietta, and has served as Concertmaster of the TPAC Broadway series. She has also logged recording, video, movie and/or performances for Sony Playstation video games and artists including Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Lee Ann Womack, Ray Charles, Josh Groban, Led Zeppelin, Matchbox 20, Three Dog Night, Luciano Pavarotti, Pepe Romero, the Super Bowl, Tournament of Roses Parade, and many others. Mrs. Sprouse also maintains a private violin and viola studio and is a teaching artist for Head Start classrooms.

The proud parent of two Linden alumni (2013 and 2016), Mrs. Sprouse believes that choosing music to support the Waldorf curriculum inspires and excites her students. She says, “I’m excited to bring my passion for performance to my students at Linden and in helping them start with a solid foundation of good technique.”
