Education: Alabama A&M University, Bachelor’s degree in Social Work; Tennessee State University, Master's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education
Ms. Knight has extensive experience serving children and families in educational and early childhood settings. Her work has included roles as a lead classroom teacher, educational assistant, program coordinator, and early childhood supervisor, giving her a deep understanding of child development across the early and elementary years. For the past eleven years, she has served as a lead teacher at Explore! Community School, primarily in Kindergarten, and was recognized for her exceptional dedication to students and families as both Teacher of the Year and a recipient of the school's Pathfinder Award. Prior to her classroom teaching career, she served as Supervisor of the Infant and Toddler Center at Bethlehem Centers of Nashville and worked in both public and private early childhood programs.
Ms. Knight is excited to join the Linden Waldorf School community. She believes every child deserves a nurturing, supportive learning environment and is committed to creating a classroom community where children feel seen, valued, and inspired to learn.
