P. Danielle Nellis is a mission-driven leader with 15+ years at the intersection of law, education, public policy and community engagement. Her career includes advancing statewide education policy, managing high-stakes litigation, launching an issue-focused and historic DA campaign, and building a successful legal practice. Currently, her work is focused on civil rights compliance in higher education. A multi-generational Nashville native, P. Danielle has actively served on nonprofit Boards including the PENCIL Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and The Village. P. Danielle earned her BA in Spanish/Education from Spelman College, and her JD from Boston University School of Law. She is happily married to Eric and they are raising a brilliant, handsome son.
