Caitlin Churchill joins the LWS team with fifteen years of experience spanning classroom instruction, book publishing, and entrepreneurship. Most recently a wellness and yoga teacher for middle schoolers, Caitlin's career has notably included serving in the Peace Corps in the country of Georgia and being on the founding team of Nashville's EdTech startup Possip. Caitlin holds a Master’s in Education from Lipscomb University, a teacher's license in Health and Physical Education, and a BA in Creative Writing from Texas A&M University. Caitlin is also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, teaching at the YMCA. She has led health and fitness camps for teens and an international ESL writing competition. As a kid, Caitlin loved public speaking and playing sports. She competed in poetry reading, debate, one-act play, softball, and cross-country. As a college student, she loved writing and literature. As an adult she loves improv, costume-making, hiking, running, and yoga. She is a #7 Enthusiast with a vibrant energy and colorful style! She brings her love of storytelling, movement, and performance to the Linden community, and plenty of warmth and presence to her future classroom.
